About
Kenrokuen is one of Japan's three most beautiful landscape gardens, featuring ponds, streams, waterfalls, and the iconic Kotoji lantern. Each season brings different beauty — cherry blossoms, irises, autumn foliage, and snow-covered pine trees.
Crowd Avoidance
Start early morning for the best experience and fewer people. Autumn foliage and cherry blossom seasons are the most crowded periods.
Getting There
Kanazawa Station — bus to Kenrokuen-shita (15 min) or 25-minute walk.
