DAY 1Arrival, Tokyo

Welcome to Japan. Your JEMS Arrival Mastery Workshop begins at the airport — a 6-hour intensive covering IC card setup, Takkyubin luggage forwarding, transit etiquette, and your first independent train ride to the hotel.

DAY 2Tokyo Deep

A full day exploring Tokyo's contrasts — from the historic Tsukiji outer market at dawn to the ancient Senso-ji temple in Asakusa, with an evening omakase dinner at a JEMS-reserved counter.

DAY 3Tokyo → Kyoto

Board the Shinkansen with Fuji-side seats pre-mapped by JEMS. Arrive in Kyoto, check into a traditional ryokan, and take an evening stroll through the atmospheric Gion district.

DAY 4Kyoto Temples

Explore Kyoto's most iconic temples — Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) in the morning light, followed by the serene Ryoan-ji rock garden and the bamboo groves of Arashiyama.

DAY 5Hidden Kyoto

A day off the beaten path — Fushimi Inari at dawn before the crowds, a private tea ceremony in a 200-year-old machiya, and the lesser-known Tofuku-ji temple gardens.

JR Nara Line to Inari Station (5 min from Kyoto Station). Return via Keihan Line.

DAY 6Nara Day Trip

A day trip to ancient Nara — the friendly deer of Nara Park, the colossal Great Buddha at Todai-ji, and the peaceful Kasuga Taisha shrine with its thousands of stone lanterns.

Kintetsu Railway from Kyoto Station to Kintetsu-Nara Station, 35 min express. Return same route.

DAY 7Kyoto → Osaka

Transfer to Osaka and dive into Japan's kitchen. Explore Dotonbori's neon-lit food streets, try takoyaki and okonomiyaki at local favorites, and experience Osaka's vibrant nightlife.

DAY 8Osaka Castle & Culture

Visit the iconic Osaka Castle and its surrounding park, explore the trendy Amerikamura neighborhood, and enjoy a cooking class learning to make authentic okonomiyaki.

DAY 9Osaka Free Day

A flexible day to revisit favorites or explore new areas. Options include the Osaka Aquarium, Sumiyoshi Taisha shrine, Kuromon Market, or a day trip to Kobe for wagyu beef.

DAY 10Departure

Final morning in Japan. Depending on your flight time, enjoy a last breakfast at a local kissaten (coffee shop) before transferring to Kansai International Airport.
