About
Kinosaki Onsen is a picturesque hot spring town on the Sea of Japan coast. Guests wear yukata and geta sandals to stroll between seven public bathhouses (sotoyu), each with a different character. The willow-lined canal is magical at night.
Crowd Avoidance
Visit between 2-4pm when most guests are sightseeing, or after 9pm for a quiet soak. Avoid weekends and holiday periods.
