About

Rikugien is one of Tokyo's most beautiful traditional gardens, built in 1702. Famous for its massive weeping cherry tree illuminated at night in spring, and spectacular autumn foliage illumination in November.

Crowd Avoidance

Start early morning for the best experience and fewer people. Autumn foliage and cherry blossom seasons are the most crowded periods.

Getting There

Komagome Station (JR Yamanote/Namboku Lines) — 7-minute walk.
