This popular hiking trail connects Kurama Temple to Kibune Shrine through a forested mountain pass. Kurama is famous for its fire festival, Kibune for its riverside dining (kawadoko) in summer.
Crowd Avoidance
Start early morning for the best experience and fewer people. Autumn foliage and cherry blossom seasons are the most crowded periods.
